Young Teen Fiction Award Celebration Day

Tuesday 7th July 2009

Staffordshire Library and Information Services runs the Young Teen Fiction Award for 11-14 years. On the first Tuesday in July a Celebration Day is held when the young people vote for the winning title. The day is also an opportunity to listen to authors and ask questions, get books signed. We require a male and a female author for the day. One would talk in the morning for 40minutes and the other would talk during the afternoon, again for 40minutes. Book Ahead Culmination Celebration

Celebratory event with a picture book author/illustrator and poet to mark the end of our 'Book Ahead' programme in Warwickshire. Audience will be Early Years practitioners and Advisory teachers.
