Summer Reading Challenge conference
Thank you very much to all of you who have put so much energy into running Quest Seekers.
Ten years into the Summer Reading Challenge we are looking at how it can be used strategically within local authorities and are running a conference aimed at senior librarians and strategic education advisers. Speakers include Estelle Morris, Michael Rosen, Paul Collard, chief executive of Creativity, Culture and Education and John Harris director of children's services in Herts, plus a UKLA team of researchers who will report on research into the impact schools perceive the challenge to have on children's reading. The Summer Reading Challenge conference is on 13 November 2009.

"If you want to get young people into libraries then you need to get us in and get our views, not the adults' views."
